Jakob Bernaldt

The eldest son of David Bernaldt. Once short-tempered, narrow-minded, and a stark traditionalist, he changed significantly after his interactions with Opal, Ira, and Raina, as well as from his experience fighting on behalf of the Elven Court. He is much more thoughtful and open-minded now, becoming a good heir to the Bernaldt family.

Post-War

Changed by his experiences, Jacob pushes himself to be a better leader, son, father, and husband, for the first time in his life feeling the drive to prove his own worth to himself. With Emilia taking the lead on representing the Bernaldts on the Knights’ Table, Jacob became the new heir to the title and estate. Jacob and Emilia, having both found their places, finally let go of their years long hatred and rivalry and work closely together to better Grattenmar.
