Zachary Bernaldt
The youngest child of David Bernaldt. He, along with his wife and child, were killed in a surprise attack by Edith Checkovitch.
Post-War
He and his family were quite confused by the crazy state of the world after being resurrected by Ira with Checkovitch’s diamonds. Things had to be slowly explained to him several times over why they were in the Elven lands, what happened with the empire, who the hell these people were (Opal, Ira, and Raina). Opal gets to meet another relative, finding perhaps her most enthusiastic welcome yet in the friendly, loud, boisterous Zachary (he has nice hair and a tiny moustache too). Realizing he is a bit like Treagin in a lot of ways, and likes drinking just as much as her, Opal and Zachary become fast friends. His wife - long hair, dark skin. A bit sarcastic and abrasive, but inwardly a dork like her husband Their son - an excitable kid eager for adventure and fun. A really nice, well behaved child.
