Dragons and Dragonborn evolved due to the power of ki. Dragons became immortal demigods with elemental powers and mastery over their forms. Dragonborn discovered magic and technology, establishing the first ever Empire upon the world.

Due to the power of change, both dragons and dragonborn evolved into greater versions of themselves. Dragons, coached by their mother, developed elemental abilities, control over their bodies' forms, and demigod-like powers. There grew to be many colors and types, each with unique traits.   Dragonborns grew past their servitude and learned, discovering magic, metallurgy, and civilization, making creations of their own. Over thousands of years, they eventually formed a great empire that spanned the world over. They were ruled by great priest-kings who claimed divine authority, answering directly to the dragons whom they worshiped as gods.
