Dragons and Dragonborn evolved due to the power of ki. Dragons became immortal demigods with elemental powers and mastery over their forms. Dragonborn discovered magic and technology, establishing the first ever Empire upon the world.
The other gods take an interest in the mortal world, creating many other races of their own. Tiamat lashes out against them. The Dragonborn Empire kills and enslaves other races under her command.
Tiamat's son, Bahamut, betrays his mother, imprisons her in Hell with the other gods, and is ascended to godhood. Metallic dragons are born. The Dragonborn Empire begins enslaving dragons as well.
The Dragonborn Empire begins to decline. A great slave rebellion begins throughout the world. It is crushed, but begins a cycle of smaller rebellions and endless wars against the dragonborn. They all fail, but speed up the Dragonborn Empire's decline.
The gods create the Eternal Legion, a race of divine warriors modeled after angels, but possessing short lifespans and terrifying cunning. The Eternal Legion leads the slave rebellions and crushes the Dragonborn Empire. The head of the Legion fell to corruption, and the others chose mortality over returning to their gods, being stripped of divinity, and becoming Humans. Fragments of the Dragonborn Empire remain.
After the fall of the dragonborn Empire, other civilizations begin to rise.
The great ki-rin, Terashiim Dera'Shun, inspired by the Eternal Legion, discovers the true potential of ki as a cosmic weapon. He and his followers create the Star Stones and the Tower of Stars so mortals can ascend out of the mortal plane. The Demons create the Grails in response, to corrupt mortal-kind with their own avarice. Terashiim and his followers are cast out of heaven and made into timeless mortals.
Eldonna leads the elves into the mortal plane. Issilidor is founded. Eldonna ascends to godhood.
The Gnome King, crowned by Oberon himself, travels out of the Fey Wild into the mortal world. They establish the Gnomish island-nation of Albion off the coast of Grattenmar.
The final dragonborn king dies at the hands of his wife, a convert to Bahamut. The king is entombed in a region near Stonegratten, along with his wife, whose spirit is trapped and tormented. Some dragonborn are granted metallic scales by the metallic dragons for her sacrifice. The last remnants of the Dragonborn Empire are completely destroyed.
A world-wide conclave of wizards is called together. The laws of magic are determined, and the schools of magic are established. A standardized calendar and date system is established, using PWC and WC to establish dates. This knowledge and calendar is spread to most of the world.
A civil war that split the kingdom of Grattenmar, caused when a branch of the royal family forcibly took the throne. Noble houses were divided among the New Founders, and the Loyalists, including House Bernaldt. The Loyalists won in the end and the kingdom of Grattenmar was restored.
Heimdar invades Albion in order to secure a naval base near the coast of Grattenmar. Albion is conquered by General Voss, and renamed Nordheim. The king is killed, but his daughter and nephew, Fritin and Fritz, escape to Grattenmar.
The darkest night of Amolai. The Alrestrauch family, along with everyone on their estate was mysteriously butchered by demons. In truth, the three grails were gathered there by Targren, Dalio, and Leonus, and they sacrificed the 100 people on the estate, in exchange for wishes from the dark cups. Trisha Alrestrauch, the 9-year-old heir to the family, was the only survivor, forever marked for death by a demon mark on her shoulder.
The mysterious Emperor Leonidas appears, leading an army of Orcs, Ogres, and Goblins, outside the city of Azur'Nethal. He conquers it, and declares the beginning of the Empire of All, promising to unify all mortal races and establish racial equality. An endless series of conquests begins.
The Gnomes fight a revolutionary war in Nordheim. Fritin returns and reclaims her crown from Oberon. With the help of Saetheus, she sieges and reclaims Albion. Julianna Vos is killed by @Saetheus, and raised as a vampire by Emperor Leonidas. Albion joins the Empire as a vassal state.
Issilidor was invaded twice, first by Orcs from the north, and then by Drow in a surprise attack. Both attacks are thwarted by Raina Tallatina, Opal, and Ira.
The Imperial Navy, led by Julianna Vos, successfully invades and conquers Heimdar. The Island of Kurst is the first to be occupied. Granny Twigmouth is killed. The frost giants are recruited. The king of Heimdar, along with his heirs, are conscripted into the Imperial military.
Emperor Leonidus dies in the failed siege of Casal Issilideth. Empress Trisha takes the throne and ends the war. Sweeping reforms are quickly enacted in the Empire.
Grattenmar formally secedes from the Empire. The Knights Table is established and Queen Runs reclaims the throne. Imperial forces maintain a presence in the region for a few years after to support the new government and ensure just laws are being maintained.
Heimdar peacefully secedes from the Empire. The council of Elders is established. Julliana Voss is named Lord Regeant of the nation after pioneering the transition process.
The gnomish nation of Albein secedes from the Empire. Queen Fritin becomes absolute ruler of the nation, but she appoints a variety of advisors and councils to actually help her run the country and make citizens happy.
Brekor's secession from the Empire. The founding of the Brekorian Council of Elders and re-establishment of the Brekorian King.
