- Whenever a word begins with a t an ɛ appears between the t and the next sound
- A k at the start of a word becomes a t
- F at the start of a word becomes ‘h
- When a word begins with ˈh and is followed by a vowel an ɛ sound is inserted after the h
- All ps are now pt
- Tla becomes tlia
- All words that end in a consonant gain an a at the end. If the consonant has an a vowel before it the consonant is simply lost.
- Fa becomes ma
- Tlia becomes ɛlma
- Ima becomes ma
- Mm becomes m
