Babal
Babal is the God of Disease, and represents the decay and destruction of all things. He spreads suffering wherever possible, and stands against the very notions of permanence or eternity. He is an egotistical being, who views himself as a force of good and purification in the universe, cleansing the weak and destroying the unworthy, but none of his plots have ever come to cause anything but chaos and pain.
He despises his sister, Maeleth, as he views her penchant for rampant unchecked growth to be cancerous, and in opposition to his goals to "cleanse" and "improve" the world.
His appearance utterly reflects the theme of a hale, hearty man laid low by disease. He is of short to middling height, broad shouldered, strong jawed, with dark hair shaved close to the scalp. He has a hunched stature and gnarled, skeletal hands with swollen joints. His face seems to be a constantly shifting mass of boils, pustules and rashes.
