Khasahn

Khasahn is a city positioned on the threshold between the deserts of Nehemen and the grasslands of the Kartheesi Plains, allowing it to reap the rewards of its own resources, as well as trade with the cities of Baqubair and Zabiqia, and the Kartheesan catfolk tribes.
Khasahn's main claim to economic glory is the scale of food agriculture made possible by farm colonies perched precariously on the edge of the grasslands, carefully placed to not offend the catfolk. While Baqubair does feature carefully irrigated rice fields, no other settlement in western Nehemen can generate the amount of food Khasahn can, an economic reality the House of Rafiq leverages as a major pillar of their control over the other settlements of the region.
