Miski

Miski is a Nehemeni tiefling living and working in Skalmarkelda as Jompá's assistant.
Miski was born in Baqubair, but, probably owing to an Abyssal legacy that can be traced to an icy layer of the Abyss called Soulfreeze, they found the sweltering climate increasingly unbearable as they matured. When they came of age, they immediately began drifting south, seeking cooler climes.
Their wanderings eventually brought them to Skalmarkelda, where their gentle charisma made them an invaluable assistant to Jompá. Miski is mostly well-liked, and generally considered useful by both Jompá and the rank-and-file, but for differing reasons. Jompá sees them as a valuable wrangler of loose ends that enforces his will, and most others see them as a necessary translator that smooths the edges of Jompá's occasionally harsh demands.

Physical Description

Body Features

Miski has a very tall and slender build, with some notable curvature at the hips, which sway rhythmically when they walk, their tail keeping time the whole way. Their gait seems to imply high-heeled shoes even while wearing practical work boots, and all of their body language is carefully crafted to give the appearance of effortless grace. 
Their skin is a stark, snow white. It shows none of the translucency of paleness, but seems to be inherently pigmented an arctic white. Their prehensile, narrowly tipped tail seems to be in constant motion, sharing the same grace as their other movements. Their slender fingers end in black claw-like nails, with modest but noticeably sharp tips.

Facial Features

Miski's eyes have black irises that blend into their pupils, giving the illusion of an unsettlingly wide gaze.
Their ears are pointed like an elf's, but much longer, and they have ridge horns extending from their temples which swoop back, up and over the ears.

Morality & Philosophy

Miski is an advocate of the The Bloodchant, reasoning that having elementals and fiends in their own ancestory was plenty of proof that otherworldly beings have no inherent rights to anyone's soul or faith.
