Aether and divithyl
The existence of the Great Wheel, the planar cosmology of the world, is made possible by the aether, a highly flexible substance that permeates all life. This aether exists as a medium whose presence constitutes comprehension, and its flow constitutes the transfer of knowledge. Ichtaca teaches that all motion through the aether is circular. For each fragment of truth that is shared, a fragment finds its way back, enriching all denizens of the Great Wheel. This, in turn, enriches the Great Wheel as it finds its way closer to universal truth. Blockades and breaks in this flow cause pain and suffering for the Wheel and its denizens as they allow chaos and corruption to grow. This philosophy is seen visualized in cosmological detailings as aether vortices around a body that revolve and interact with countless other vortices, each encircling a different body. These bodies are called divithyl by Ichtaca's followers. Depending on the personal interests of the artist, such a visualization would depict people to be the center of such vortices. Other depictions would use clans, establishments, governments, or even gods as the divithyl.Divine Domains

Personal history
Once, Ichtaca was a wise and powerful celestial bird that ruled the skies. Revered by tradesmen and adventurers, Ichtaca was said to bless those who swept the lands like a breeze, ridding it of fiends and monstrosities. But perhaps more than all others, Ichtaca praised those who devoted themselves to exposing the schemers and puppet masters of the corrupt lands. Ichtaca despised secrets more than anything. One day Ichtaca uncovered a plot of Araushnee, the elven goddess of artisans and destiny, to murder her husband, Correlon, the god of creation. Araushnee plotted with Gruumsh, the creator of orcs, to murder Correlon in battle. Instead, this plot was thwarted by Ichtaca and Correlon was merely cut. Out of his blood, the elves sprouted. Ichtaca, however, was exiled for her role in this divine battle.
Ichtaca has been locked away in the Feywild and rid of her wings. The only power she continued to hold on the material plane was through her artefacts. Her shrine on the material plane was perverted by the avatar of Totec, the Rat King. But this shrine was cleansed by a group of adventurers, specifically Wren, a new devout follower. Now, her flight has returned to her and she is roaming the Feywild with eyes on the material plane.
