Soulbinding

Soulbinding is the practice of attaching a very small shard of a person's Soul to an object. This shard remains connected to the rest of the person's soul.

Utility

Soulbinding allows a person to always know where the bound object is, as well as summon the bound object to themselves at any time, regardless of distance. The main drawback to soulbinding is that if the bound object is destroyed, the Soul shard is also destroyed, causing great harm to the owner.
