Elemental Protectors
Elemental Protectors were more rare before humanity created the rift, since to be an elemental protector of any power, a spirit would have to sacrifice its own self to fuse with another, who also performs the sacrifice into a new being, losing there old conciseness for a new one that's only goal is to protect the realm. This fusion also isn’t limited to spirits from the same elemental plane. They would protect any realm that they had fused with. The normal number is 2 spirits but the max seen by humanity is 5. With legends even in the spirits world of those who sought the need to gather more spirits to fuse. The Reason this practice become more prevalent is to protect themselves from the humans who would capture spirits against the spirits will.
There are 5 tiers of Protectors depending on the power of the spirit at the time of fusion.
