Melora , The Wildmother

Melora is the Neutral Deity of the land, wilderness and harmony. She, alongside Avandra, created the land on which the Prime Material Plane is based, their union working to smoothly join the lands and seas.
Melora is worshipped more predominantly in midsummer, people head to areas of nature for communing with Melora and her works - some families head to local sites of beauty at this time. She can also be worshipped through trippy weekend forest parties - mushrooms are used to establish a connection to the elements around you.

1st Moria - First Bloom Melora is celebrated at the appearance of the first blooms in the fields, usually the first of Moria. This is celebrated in tandem with the Ride of the Blossoms, the orcish holiday for Gruumsh. This has then been adapted to the Festival of the Blooms with the advent of "The Bulb" , with "The Bulb" being credited for the opening of the flowers.
12th-17th Melia - Spree of the Wildmother Meloran's gather in the forest temples for these days and commune with nature. Meloran druids, clerics and priests would prepare the spore caps for general consumption, and all would consume these mushrooms in order to commune with nature closely. For these days the followers would spend their time as close to nature as they could get, and show love to their fellow followers.
28th Corolia - Winter’s Close Worship for the events of the year, a celebration of those who are still here and respect paid to those who aren't. Shrines mostly to Corellon as thanks for keeping the year's order, but also to The Raven Queen to honour and celebrate the dead, Melora to pray for a bright new year and Sehanine as a farewell to the long nights of Winter.
