Tsol Steppe
The Tsol Steppe makes up the majority of Bengbou. The ground here is devoid of nutrients and farming requires a lot of time and effort few are willing to invest, as such it is home to many roving tribes and few permanent settlements.
Ecosystem
It rarely rains on the Tsol Steppe instead the land relies on a multitude of small rivulets that spread down from the mountains to the west.
Fauna & Flora
Due to the scarcity of food in the region many animals are more aggressive than one might assume. The horned bengbou horses are known to scavenge carcasses and the great qiong qi, winged tigers the size of a jangwa elephant, hunt cattle and wild camels from the sky.
