Purpose
Gloria Stone always wanted to discover something, but everything on earth was already discovered. So she needed to go were no one else has being before. So she went to the newly discovered planet Atlas Temple. During her travels she started to write down her findings, hoping that one day she could inspire somebody to discover something new.

Year 3090
The Stardust Therizinosaurus
June 24th year 3090
We have landed two weeks ago, and we are just now are able to set up camp. Not by the lag of trying. But because we were interrupted by a creature, that didn't appreciate our company. The creature was black as the night, with white spots over its feathers. I need to hit the books, when we have set up camp. I think I have seen an image of a creature just like this one.June 30th year 3090
I was right, I have seen the image of this creature before. It was a dinosaur from the late Cretaceous period. The scientist of that time called it a Therizinosaurus. This creature is extinct on our planet, but here at Atlas Temple the animal is very much a live. The animal is large, and travels at night. One of the creatures came very close to our camp today, but stayed away for some reason I do not know yet. According to the old books I have being reading, is this animal a very territorial creature. So maybe we are not in its territory. But at this point I am only guessing.September 2nd year 3090
After mine last entry I have discovered that there was not one Therizinosaurus, but there were two of them. Seven weeks ago mine team and I discovered that the mated pair had laid an egg. And now it has hatched. The chick, is a miniature version of its parents. It is 3 meters tall and has black feathers with white spots all over them. The chick needs to have food to grow, only I do not have seen the parent go on a hunt. Maybe I was wrong to believe that these animals are carnivores, I will never know until I see them eat.September 7th year 3090
I will be dammed, and I will be the first one to say that I was wrong about the Therizinosaurus. They are indeed no carnivores, they are herbivores with a fondness for berries. I have to say that I didn't see that one coming, but then again. Mother nature is full of surprises, no matter on which planet you are.Horned Skull

This is a very strange, we found this skull a few meters from we set up our third camp since the landing. This skull seemed to be made out of a hornlike structure. I only do not know if this skull was made or if the sapient race that lived on this planet had made this. I need to find more skulls like this one to be sure.June 24th year 3091
We have been a year on this planet, and I still think I have not seen the half of it. The mystery of the Horned Skull are still a mystery to me. We have found no other skulls like these, or rather said. We have found nothing in this area that points out that there was sapient live on this planet. Except of the skull of course.July 4th year 3091
We still have not found another skull like the one we have found two months ago. So I am assuming that this skull was made, from a hornlike material. I also assume that this skull was used in some kind of ritual. For what I do not know, and what for significance it had I do not know either. But because it is the only one we have found, I believe that the sapient race that lived here saw it as something powerful. Again I can only assume this because there is no one on this planet I can ask.Weeping Lady

I can't believe it, after we had found the Horned Skull we believed there was sapient live on this planet. At least at one point. And now we have found proof of it. A very large statue depicting a woman who is crying. It is incredible, tomorrow we need to find out how this race has made this giant monument.December 8th year 3091
It really took use some time to walk around the Weeping Lady, but we have found the materials that were used to create the statue. It seems to me that they have built it like the Romans and the Ancient Egyptians did. Just with simple hand tools, made out of some kind of metal. I know that this metal is no iron or another metal we can find on planet Earth.December 19th year 3091
One of the crew members has climbed the statue, to measure the height and the ground crew the wideness. The statue is 7,200 meters high 730 meters wide. Just as the Lupghar Sar in Pakistan. The statue was probably made out of a mountain. Just like Mount Rushmore and The Lakota, in America. But that would be strange, I have not seen one single mountain on this planet. And if this statue was made out of a mountain than the mountain structure is very different of that on planet Earth. Where mountains do not appear at random, but always in ranges. But this fall outside my field of study. Still it amasses me, and I can not wait what I am going to find next.City of Atlas
December 21st year 3091
Not much farther of the Weeping Lady we have found the ruins of a settlement. A large city with various buildings. I can't believe we finally have found more evidence that there was once sapient live on this planet. Tomorrow some members of the team will climb the walls to open up the gates. Who are closed. Maybe to keep the Stardust Therizinosaurus out of the city. Which is not so bad an idea.December 22nd year 3091
That was harder than we thoughts. The gates gave use a fight, but still we have menaced to open it and we are inside the save walls of the city. But because of the delay there wasn't enough time to explore the city.January 1st year 3092
The inside of this city is breathtaking, it is filled with houses, large buildings. The square in the middle of the city is overgrown with flora, but I do not know if that was always the case. Everywhere I look there is the depiction of the Weeping Lady. So I really think that she was someone important to this city. A shield maiden or a goddess, I do not know. Still we didn't have found a graveyard of some sort, which can indicate that the sapient race that lived here cremated their death.About the Author

Gloria Stone was born and raised in a small town near Harvard Collage. She was a great fan of the Indiana Jones movies and books. She wanted to become an archeologist, but at the time she got excepted into Harvard, there was nothing left to dig up. So she took the Biology science major, together with the History major. After collage, she was asked by NASA to go on a mission to Atlas Temple. After that mission she published this book, she died on Atlas Temple. 20 years after her first trip.
