Session 30 - ESCAPE! from The Dusk Haven - Report
General Summary
The Gang has had a glimpse into what the future holds for not just them, but for all of Cyradon and perhaps even the entire world. Feeling a bit confused at the cryptic and seemingly unhelpful tarot reading, they leave Madame Sperantza's to head back home... but do they know how to get back? As it turned out, no... No, they did not. Tally, along with the parties recently acquired Bag of Holding, decided to slip away and search for the exit by himself. Finding it without much problem, he decided to utilize this alone time to test out Alexander's confiscated boots. After slipping on the boots and feeling unusually light on his feet, Tally attempts to see just how much lighter he has become... and subsequently smashed his head into the bottom of the walkway above him. With some idea of the boots capabilities (and a bit of a headache), Tally attempted to disguise himself as a gargoyle while he waited for the rest of the party to catch up. However, he couldn't quite get his Cloak of Many Fashions to completely change him into a gargoyle. Instead, the cloak just took on a vaguely statuesque form. After a bit of searching, Naemaris finds his way back the portal as well, and upon arriving, receives the Cloak of Many Fashions back from a rather annoyed looking Tally. Meanwhile, Master Roshi has realized his chances of finding the exit by himself are fairly slim, so as any good drunken master would do, he decides to head to the nearest tavern. Apparently a bit drunk already (or still), Roshi failed to notice the party's nameless goblin guide having a drink of his own at the bar. Alexander, having realized that Tally has disappeared, briefly attempted to find him, but quickly realized that searching this massive city for a thief of such small stature would be a fool's errand. Following Master Roshi's lead, Alexander also headed to the tavern, and upon arriving and seeing both Master Roshi and their guide, decided to sit and drink with the guide while they waited for the rest of the party. Lyra and Linda , on the other hand, decided to do a bit of shopping in this new sprawling city. With her heart set on a deck of Tarot cards for herself, Lyra enlists Linda's help in finding a shop with such wares. After finding a shop, and a deck she liked, the pair realized they were going to need a bit of help finding the exit, so they decided to head back to Madame Sperantza's. The weathered, old seer informed them that they would probably find their guide at the tavern nearby, as well as telling Lyra to come back another time for lessons in tarot reading. Now with a clear idea of where to find their guide and ultimately how to get back to @Cyradon, Lyra and Linda decided to head to a pet store... (Continued Below)

(Continued from above) Picking out some small bird companions with little help from the annoyed shopkeeper, the pair finally headed to the tavern to meet up with the rest of their group (that hadn't already found the exit themselves). The gang eventually reunites and heads back through the portal to Cyradon, and decided to head back home to Naporia. Finally back home, The Gang parted ways for the night. Naemaris went shopping for some stronger armor and a new Rapier, and learned a bit about the art of haggling in the process. Gaidaros, meanwhile, went off in search of a way to finally become tangible in this world and finally make sense of the clues whispered by the higher Gods. Figuring the best place to start would be somewhere people had seen him before, Gaidaros headed back to Madame Alec's House of Pleasure to seek out anyone that could see him in his current form. Immediately after entering the establishment, he noticed a couple of the patrons at the bar staring at him, and so decided to test out the extents of his power. Deciding that possession would be the best route to tangibility, he attempted to literally dive into the bar patron through his mouth. Upon making contact with the man, Gaidaros did in fact become visible and tangible to everyone else nearby... for just an instant, before ripping the man in half and showering the bar and nearby lounge area in a layer of blood. Hearing the commotion, Madame Alecstraza herself came out to see what was going on. Seeming unusually calm considering the blood and gore in her place of business, Madame Alecstraza simply locked eyes with the once again incorporeal Gaidaros and made a shooing motion with her hand. Coincidentally, Tally arrived at the House of Pleasure and quickly helped Gaidaros make sense of what just happened, and then leave just as quickly. With plenty of new information, whether immediately helpful or not, the gang now has a semi-clear idea of where to head next... Two different destinations to find the two remaining orbs. But which orb will they seek out next? And what will Gaidaros do now that he's found out how to enter the physical realm?
