Inciting Incident II Report
General Summary
Dabria works as a assistant in the Biology Department, and had planned on sticking around all of spring break to take care of the on campus greenhouse. As she was watering the plants, she heard a knock on the door, and went and found an envelope with her name on it. The contents brought her to a meeting in the library that evening to discuss matters that would have a drastic impact on the Underworld. She contacted her father to see what he knew about the potential threat, and he cryptically encouraged her to go to the meeting. Obstacles works in the cafeteria maintaining the kitchen robots. He was working on fixing one of the robots over lunch when he saw a man go through the line that he did not recognize and gave the cashier something in addition to his payment, and glanced over at Obstacles. When Obstacles went up to the cashier to ask what that was about, the cashier gave him the note and told him that the guy wanted him to have it. The not talked about a showing of new culinary robots that will be on display with free food that evening in the library. Ya and Luca spent their day researching what the could about the sword of Damocles, and found out more about the organization that operates the security at the museum where the sword was stolen from. The company Scientific Technologies Of Renaissance Mythologies runs the security, with state of the art security systems mixed with magical tech. The founder of the company, Cordallia Wavergrean was born and raised in Athens. She majored in history as an undergrad and focused her senior thesis on WW5. Which was known as the word of the gods. The war ended with the pantheon breaking up and each god taking a part of the world. This war also exposed the presence of Demi-gods to the world, and that each demi-god has different capabilities depending on their ancestry. Using this knowledge Cordallia decided to combine modern technologies with demi-god magic to create ultra-powerful and useful technologies and thus founded the company S.T.O.R.M. Amita worked on packing, researching pollution in the Mediterranean, and making sure her plants would be taken care of. The meeting at the library was much shorter than the previous meeting. Everyone showed up, Obstacles was interested in all of the tech, but was not enthused with the idea of being duped into this quest, and having to sign a NDA. He took the paperwork and left quickly. Daria was unenthused about the idea of going on a quest, and was not sure why she was needed on the quest, and why it was a real threat to the underworld. Ya wanted to get more information out of Daria, but the two of them did not get along well at all and tensions escalated quickly. To the point that they both stormed off. They are all to meet back at this location at 7 the next morning to head off on their journey.
