Faux Molder requests the Heroes investigate the death of Seth Weeks.
The Heroes investigated the apartment where Seth Weeks had died.
They found several clues pointing to the Essex.
The Heroes found and investigated the apartment of Charles Ramsdell, a friend of Seth and also a sailor on the Essex.
The Heroes interviewed Ella Weeks.
The investigated the wreck of the Essex.
The Heroes attempted to pry more information out of the Harbormaster.
The Heroes asked Irene Ashwell, reporter for The Detroit News questions, turned down offer for exclusive story rights.
The Heroes went to find Thomas Nickerson, found his parents distaught over apparent kidnapping.
The Heroes followed clues to the Old Brickworks in Bricktown.
Entering the Old Brickworks, they found a changed Benjamin Lawrence threatening Thomas Nickerson. Also present were a group of floating abberations mostly tentacles and teeth. The Heroes dispatched the abberations and rescued Thomas. Benjamin was injured and dove into the pools, he did not reappear.
The Heroes took Thomas to the nearest DPS station and provided The DPS with the entire story.
Later the Heroes claimed the reward from Faux Molder, a dwarven longsword named Howler.
