The Guardian Stones in Anestor are failing. Some welcome this. They see the Guardian Stones as an avenue that the Marcisians used to control them, forcing them to be mundane laborers. Now that the Marcisians are gone and the stones are failing, Anestor can finally return to her natural state. Others fear this change. The stones held back the chaos of extra planar worlds. They blocked alien creatures from invading the country, and those influences have a habit of interrupting a simple life. Those interruptions, for many, are unwelcome.   You will all begin in Bower Town, a bustling sea side village on the west coast of Anestor, not far south of Astreia's Forest. Before the Marcisians came, it was a small elven fishing village, but since then, many of the elves were relocated. Marcisians were moved in and integrated into the village. Buildings were built, walls were raised and businesses were started, and when the revolution happened, the Marcisian humans who lived in the town had been in Bower Town for generations. When the revolution happened, those who stayed felt more tied to Anestor than Marceaux.   Bower Town rests on the western most point of Anestor. The sea port is busy. Elysium, the largest city in the west sits about 350 miles to the south. There is a thriving farming community, and since the guardian stones have been failing, monster hunters have traveled to the northern cities looking for bounty jobs.   The campaign will begin in the Black Barnacle, a local tavern. Why you're here, and if you've traveled here with any of the other PCs, well that is completely up to you.
