Session 5 - The Status Quo
General Summary
Life continues as normal in Tribute.
With Thadeus' arrival at The Port City of Rystanburg, reinforcements from the city are likely only a few days away. Scrambling to ensure lose ends are tied and that the more suspicious villagers in Tribute are pacified, Vargan arranges a meeting between the group and Garfield, Mayor of Tribute. Managing to persuade the man to co operate, they tell him just enough to understand the need for secrecy without tipping their whole hand. After sharing another bottle of brady and a strange dish called "lasagna", the group bids their farewells and turns in for the night with a new ally (hopefully) in their corner.
The next morning, the hungover group of unlikely friends visits Netty, The Herbalist and ensures that her silence and co-operation is also granted. Perhaps more importantly, they also take a much needed opportunity to ensure their wounds are finally properly treated.
But as each member of party falls back into the familiar routines of rural life, Garfield's warning that the constable from Rystanburg will arrive in only a few days rings in their ears. Inquires into their actions may lead a curious party to the secrets each of them would much rather not reveal...
