Energy Fragments at the Prison Ship Martyrs Monument Park Report

General Summary

It is a brisk December evening in the year 2072. Explosions at an International Energy Regulation Agency command facility established in the corner of a park in Brooklyn have brought intense scrutiny from all sorts of people...onlookers, local police, the Leaders of the Free Energy Resistance, also known as Lifers. And yet to others as Elfers. But also, in the shadows of the skyscrapers surrounding this park, acolytes of Level 37 lurk...waiting to make their move. Heroes from all the factions meet in the Prison Ship Martyrs Monument Park as the nearby IERA Command Center explosion has released fragments of "the key" into the nearby area. All factions are attempting to recover components of the key, but ultimately their warring against each other leave them vulnerable to the IERA. In the end, one LFER agent and one L37 agent are captured by IERA agents as they are blasted by the Recon Jet's Energy Cannon. With select IERA Blaster Agents onsite, they encounter civilians on the scene, instructing them to move out of the range of the energy fragment. But the civilians are unable to flee, due to the energy pull of the fragment. They are sucked into the unknown:

After the civilians are sucked into the fragment, the blaster agents open fire:

Scarlett Sprite and Honey Badger (both from LFER) join together on Sprite's super bike, capturing several fragments.

However, they quickly encounter SwitchBlade and get caught in a tug of war that ultimately destroys both of their protective containers, releasing their individually captured fragments into the open.

All the while, IERA agent "Axiom" quietly moves underground and captures seven fragments before IERA Recon Jets notice the 'unauthorized supers' on the grounds -- including a known terrorist going by the name, "Honey Badger". As the Recon Jet's cannon blaster is whirring into life, Honey Badger sees the impending danger and flees.
