General Summary
DAY 2.4 UNDERMOUNTAIN/STRONGCHEST/DOWN THE WELL:
Soma remembers The Family (Danaath) that has been a family for generations.
He recognizes that's Mirach IV's son.
Ape Ren picks up the tree. We see the smashed halfling artificer wearing bronze/copper thick patches of armor/machinery. Ren scoops the body kinda a fucking mess out from under the tree.
The woman René DuCarde starts looting the body, pulling out a scroll tube, wanting to leave. Apparently they're doing research.
They've been down here doing research on the cult of the elder gods. Mirach Daanaath V mentions/worships Beshaba Goddess of Misfortune.
The Family have black antlers (from Beshaba) on everything.
Mirach is making their way in the underdark. 17 miles outside the city.
Renne says the tube is their ticket to change the world.
Lot's of glyphs and stuff. (this is important).
Mirach is dancing around a lot of questions and says they can be reached at the El Torchul Academy in Waterdeep .
Jornah blurts out "i love you" to René and and Mirach answered "of course you do." Lol.
Jornah investigates the body after they leave, finds three crazy inventions.
Wind Up Mimic, Uma's Amazing Unguent, Fingerpurse, rocks, and money.Ren found a bunch of potions.
Iago casts speak with plants to ask about how the tree fell.
The tree said acts of gods fell the tree.
We take a rest and Soma sees some shape in the darkness that has the gate of a young stag with a small rack of antlers.
It moves opposite Soma- very unnatural.
Ren then sends Carrot after it and sees a glimpse of FUCKING HORROR.
Ren mage hand pushes at it.
Upon pushing, the deer appears somewhere else.
