Session 38: Our Fathers Mercy Without Hope Report

General Summary

Ayame twiddles along her glass before taking a sip. Well, we are well fed, drunk," She motions to Nahemah, "And have all the information we need... So I think we are done here." She says before taking a sip, before perking up with a smile. "Or we could always check out that cult thing... Ooor we could rob those drugs back~"
Eleanor grumbles a little while thinking. "I don't see why we would need to do that, though I suppose I'd love an excuse to punch those cult idiots. But it's not like we're gettin paid to do so."
"Ah, but killing people can bring profit even without payment!" Ayame says with a smile.
Eleanor chuckles, "I'm tellin ya right now as someone who's lived that life, that's only sometimes the case, more often than not you piss off someone scarier in the process." She says glancing at nahemah for a brief moment.j
Ayame nods solumnly. "Fair enough... Well, I told Sebastian to follow ornable to ehm... Make sure he gets back to his cart safely... once he returns, I am ready to go."
The party continues to eat and lightly converse for a few more minutes before Sebastian arrives, his mission complete as he stands behind Ayame at the table. Ayame smiles at sebastian. "Thank you, welcome back." She says before Sebastian hands Ayame a scroll.
Ayame takes the scroll, opening it away from the party before carefully looking it over.
Nahemah suddenly jolts up. "AY'M UP!" She says wiping the sleep from her eyes.
Ayame looks over the scroll, finding it scrawled with some handwriting atop of the scroll itself. "Thank you for the assistance. You may find a use for this scroll of sending." She blinks and looks to Sebastian with a smile. "Did Ornable give this to you?" Sebastian nods as she looks back to the scroll with a smile.
Whatcha got there?" Eleanor says while Nahemah starts dancing slightly in her seat.
"A scroll of sending, it will let me tell Espeaux about our findings."
Nahemah groans and places her head on the table. "I shouldn't... have taken seven shots..."
Eleanor blinks, looking at the scroll then back to Ayame. "Well ain't that handy, hopefully she's got some way to get us back then. I did clear things up with my old friend but this place still makes me itch a lil."
"Places can make you itch?" Ayame says, as she starts casting the spell.
"Its a saying." Eleanor says with a light shrug.
"Oooh I see ok." She says with a grin, before sending the message. "Found person hoarding artifacts.   Name: Ornable Frobisher, Occupation: Extremely Rich Merchant, Collector Current Location: Baal, The city of Our Fathers Mercy." "Mmmgraggnn..." Nahemah says as she makes a pained, drunken sound.
Eleanor grabs Nahemah by the back of her shirt to hold her up. "You lil' one got a lil too ambitious. We should probably find a place to bunk for the night next before preppin to go."
Ayame very quickly feels the weight of her spell being lifted from her just as she gets a response back from someone.
"Good job, hope to see you in the classes again soon! Remember that we search for artifacts. Good Luck my pupil, defeat all your challenges."
Ayame grins proudly, tossing the scroll into the air as it rips to shreads from the wind in celebratory confetti. "Well thats that done!"
"Mnn... Goood... Let's rest for once..." Nahemah says before she remembers something. "Wait..." she says pulling out a note from her pocket that the tiefling bartender handed her. "Mmnnh... Party at Warehouse 3..."
"Eh?" Says Ayame. "Who gave you that?"
"A friend!" Nahemah says with a wide smile.
Eleanor looks over Nahemahs shoulder, still holding her upright. "Oh that sounds fun, you'll need an equally drunk guardian. I volunteer myself."
"Parties are always full of fun stuff to try out, count me in~" Ragia says with a humm.
Nahemah looks to Ayame. "You just finished a quest for something that could've harmed you. Lets go unwind."
Ayame thinks for a moment but shrugs. "Well ok! Lets go I guess."
Eleanor lifts nahemah up onto her feet, "Great, we're all in agreement and this might resolve our sleepin arrangements too. Lets get go-... er... Where's this warehouse three?"
Nahemah claps her hands in excitement, but looks at the note and tries to remember. "Y-yes! I remember where it is, over by the docks where we talked to the guy who made the big incense bust of momma."
Ayame stands as well, hopping onto Sebastians shoulder again. "Shall we head out then?"
"To the CLUB!" Nahemah says.

The party decide to duck into the bathroom on their way out, changing to go straight to the warehouse. Nahemah quickly changing out of her ceremonial garments into a tight pair of leather shorts and a risque looking black and red silk tank top.
Eleanor swaps into a loose fitting crimson button up shirt, leaving the front quite a bit open and the least damaged pair of pants she owns, returning to the group while shoving her ripped vest she usually wears into a bag. "About as fancy as a warehouse party needs." She says meeting the rest of the party outside.
Ragia unbuttons a couple buttons on her fancy clothing, while waiting for the other two with Ayame and Sebastian.
The party fully changed makes their way to the docks. From one of the warehouses, they can hear the music before they even step within a hundred feet of the building. They find a rickety old simplistic building that looks to be halfway to falling part. From behind darkened windows, they can see flashing lights and spews of colors of magic being thrown about in harmless displays of flame and sparks.
There is a small line at the door made entirely of men dressed in leather pants with long hair, all of them barely old enough to drink but dancing to the music from outside having the time of their lives. A minotaur seems to be the bouncer, as he comes out from the club itself throwing someone directly into the waterway before standing guard at the door again.
"Oooh, what an exciting place! that minotaur is awfully... strong."
Eleanor lets out a laugh, "Oh man did you see the distance on that throw?? If only you could drink with the bouncers."
The party makes their way to the front, and the minotaur quickly looks them over and makes room for them to enter. "Wow I guess when you're a group of beautiful women it's easy to get in" Nahemah says with a giggle, though sounding slightly different.
Eleanor hears Nahemahs comment and blinks, looking to the group of ladies with a nod. "Yknow I kind of forget what we all must look like huh."
Ayame giggles and nods as the party enters. "Yeah, a bunch of young women in a mix of robes and martial wear, wandering around."
Eleanor chuckles. "I wouldn't call me young, but y'all certainly all fit that description." Eleanor says heading inside first. As she does, she sees lights shining everywhere, with people dancing nearly wall to wall. All walks of life, from the rich to poor, from human and elves to goblins and kobolds and dragonborn dancing together.
On stage a band plays, a trio of three humans, drums, guitar, and piano playing their hearts out while wearing stylized wigs that make it look like they have dragon horns, while body paint makes them look like the appropriate colors. Red the lead singer, black on drums and blue on the guitar.
A makeshift bar has been set up halfway through the warehouse, where people are seen coming and going from behind curtains set up behind the bar, with numerous people carying trays of water throughout the crowd. Most of the people here seem to be magically inclined however, as drinks zip away from the trays at breakneck speed into an awaiting persons hand.
The bartender looks to be some sort of sentient octopus, using its arms as fast as it can to put out drink orders and collect tips. It looks slightly demonic, but friendly enough for a summoned creature.
Eleanor lets out an impressed whistle. "What a setup," She yells to the party over the music. "Though I don't really understand the folks carryin around water. I'm probably gonna head to the bar first, see what actual drinks they have."
Ayame suddenly seems more interested in what is going on, her eyes exploring every nook and cranny of the magic being cast. She notices quite a few people brought wands to the ocassion to make the fun blinking lights for the performance, but she happens to spot a few wands for sale for a silver a piece. She hops up and buys 10 wands for equivalence in silver, before joining Eleanor at the bar.
Already there herself, Eleanor has the octopus eye them, continuing to hand out drink orders non stop. One of the bar patrons even pukes in front of the bar before coughing and making their way back onto the dance floor. Eleanor confirms that the octopus does not speak.
Ragia meanwhile, eyes the gathering of dragonborn and kobolds, and makes her way to encounter them.
Nahemah also makes her way to the bar, her leather covered posterior being touched twice before she finally arrives. She grumbles about it, but stands next to Eleanor as her friend looks back to the Seraph. "Oh heya blondie, gonna roll the dice and get even more intoxicated?"
"Maaaybe, it seems really fun!" She says with a smug smile.
Eleanor looks back to the bar, searching for a menu, but doesn't seem to find one. Instead, she notices that bar patrons shout out their specific drink order, and if its not available, the octopus wags a tendril at them. If it does however, it shakes the tentacle until an appropriate payment has been placed upon it, at which point it scoops up the payment, leaving any changge and giving them a drink.
Ayame orders a drink, shooting off some fireworks above the crowd, to the awe of those gathered, before going into the crowd, dancing and firing off sparks and the like.
"Oy!" Eleanor yells to the octopus. "If you've got any authentic dwarven ales, gimme whatever's most popular!"
She says before looking back to Nahemah. "And here I thought those shots were gonna scare you off, seems like they did ya in instead. Well, lets make sure its an enjoyable night for you!"
Nahemah nods her head in response while Ragia ends up flirting with a silver dragonborn, who seems a bit interested, while the kobold drags them to the bar, paying a few sketchy looking kobolds a few gold coins for extacy, before grabbing a couple of ales and making her way back to the dragonborn.
Eleanor meanwhile watches while the tentacle from the octopus shakes in front of them, waiting for payment like everyone else. Nahemah asking for a water while Eleanor digs for a couple of copper, handing it to the octopus, both of them getting their drinks very quickly.
"Not what I expected from ya." Eleanor says as the creature takes three of Eleanors copper, being handed a large, frothing tankard of ale the size of her head.
Eleanor gasps in delight, "This's exactly like I remember it! And I don't remember much!" she says with a loud chuckle, grabbing the ale with both hands and taking the biggest swig she can, slamming it back down, "AH!-FFuck that burns good! I like this barkeep, most one's give me twenty warnin's when I ask for Dwarven Ales"
Meanwhile, Ayame, dancing and having fun, feels someone tugging on her tail for a moment, turning around, she sees a man, completely high out of his mind petting her fluffy tails. She smiles and continues to dance, letting the man do so, swishing her tails around as her, and the rest of the party, begin to enjoy themselves, even Ragia, who takes a silver dragonborn into the "back rooms" to have some fun.
After a whihle of dancing, playing, drinking and general goofing off, there is a panic from the bathrooms as someone comes screaming out of there towards the exit, the bouncer quickly making his way to the womans bathroom, before quickly exiting and throwing up next to the bar. He yells at the octopus, "No more drinks, its time to bail." At which point the octopus vanishes in a puff of black, sulfuric smoke. The minotar gets to the bar himself, grabbing every coin he can, yelling out. "Bar is CLOSED! Tell everyone you can to LEAVE NOW!" He shouts out before running out the door. The band even sees the minotaur running, knowing something is up and finishes their song before a wide panic erupts from the crowd, starting to run out of warehouse 3 into the night.
Eleanor groans, having just finished her drink. "I be t its the guards." She says before making her way to Nahemah, grabing her and looking for the others.
Ragia comes out from the backrooms with quite a few people struggling to put on clothing while she wobbles about, high out of her mind and wobbling to the party.
"Ayame we need to go!" Eleanor says as the curious kitsune makes her way into the womens bathroom, ignoring Eleanor's pleas.
Inside, Ayame finds a particularly gruesom sight. It reminds her of another one she saw only a day or two ago, deep within the forest, as the mangled corpse of a woman is stitched by some unknown fashion to the wall in gruesom fashion, with numerous body parts severed, leaving a forever screaming torso upon the seat, with blood dripping onto the floor. A sort of "note" is "written" onto the chest of the corpse. "Its a good day to die."
Ayame, put off by the horrific sight for a moment goes and searches the body, finding it to have been a regular partygoer, perhaps even a random murder of an elf with black hair, and a set of house keys, on top of six silver to her name. Ayame tuts slightly, stepping out of the stall, taking the keys and silver, and rushing with the rest of the party out of the warehouse.
