Session 0.5 Report - The Arrowhead Surreptition
General Summary
After a couple of weeks of downtime at Fortress Blank, Nikolai Vasilovich and Tibbles set out to Palestone Harbour on a routine trip for supplies. Whilst there, they met a peculiar Gnome bard who introduced themselves as Frederick Stevens. Nikolai, recognising the persistently low spirits of his employees at the Fort, chose to hire Frederick, adding him to his repertoire. After returning to Fort Blank, Nikolai, Tibbles and Señor Weeblewobble set out on the HMS Caldera to investigate a mystery that had gone unanswered for a long time. After reaching the scuttled wreckage of the HMS Arrowhead, Tibbles, with his new arcane helm, and the three deep scions dove into the ocean's depths to investigate, which led to him discovering the following:
- The ship had seemingly been scuttled by a single outburst of Slatish.
- There seemed to be no struggle on board, as most of the crew weren't at battle positions but in their quarters.
- In the ship's hold, a locked storeroom for valuables was broken into.
- Only one item seemed to have been taken, a seemingly arcane item that was wrapped in chains.
- The chains, as well as the lock on the safe's door, were broken, seemingly through the use of magic.
