Assist the Mining Guild

Arodeyr couldn't remember what it was they were supposed to assist with, but it was clearing out a mine of a tribe of giants.

Notes

Snapper has been looking for the Party

The bar owner, a stout and older lady, doesn't think very highly of Snapper, remarking that "his kind" had some sort of reputation

- Snapper tells us that Amon had commissioned some gloves to make up for his missing fingers and gave them to Henrietta
- He also tells us that a strange man had been claiming to be Raas at The Amethyst Bank
- Along with that he notifies us that the bouty of Amon's head is upward of 50000gp

When the party makes it to the bank they find out that Kemok had upheld his end of the pact by depositing our spoils in an account under Raas' name

- approx 88000gp
- Kemok was described as having slicked black hair, being very well dressed, and quite pompous

Smodi makes a quick stop at Innesa's tea shop. In return for our assistance with the Treants (Session 9: A Lovely Jaunt in the Forest Report) she gives him 5 greater healing potions and 1 superior healing potion (he later divided them among the group)

On the way back to The Sapphire Shores the group has a run-in with a bounty hunter

- He's a duergar, speaks undercommon (which Smodi speaks)
- He asked "Where is the Horned One" <-- obviously asking for Amon

Blacksmithing & Mining Guild

- mostly dwarves and gnomes
- Harlan Wythe is the leader of the guild
- He was concerned, and not in a good way, when we brought up The Light Bringers
- He sent word of us to Torbin himself --> likely to see if we were lying
- Tasked us with removing a tribe of giants from a mine that they had recently learned was not as dry as they had thought

We went to The Golden Griffin to see if Torbin had anyone who could speak giant, so he sent Fearless and Horncarver with us

The trip would've been a half day walk, so smodi and Aro wildshaped into horses for Henrietta and Dacso, Raas flew, and the goliaths ran

We found the cave infested with some sort of spider-like creature that ambushed us

- After dispatching them we found a single giant that was sleeping in order to nurse his wounds
- He wasn't crazy about us, but eventually we convinced him that we weren't a threat and we made it out of the cave without having to fight him
- The giant said that his tribe used the cave for shelter when they came down the mountain to hunt
- The spider creatures had overwhelmed him
- He left back up the mountain and we headed back to town, getting in late at night (around 11-midnight)
