Session IX: Meeting The Family Report

General Summary

The party, who had just arrived on Batuu, left the Inn the next morning and went back to the arrival bay in Bresee. Where they met Jarghull's father. They used his father's job to acquire information about the current whereabouts of Lena Levy, she is currently on Batuu and not just passing through. Afterwards the party went back to the inn to ask the owner about information about their target. Unfortunately the owner wasn't very helpful as his eyesight wasn't the best. The tavern, however, was very helpful as they had seen Lena and she had even fought in their fighting pit. After a quick stop at the general store for some rations, they headed for the stables where they met Enys, a young girl on a white horse. She joined the party in search for adventure, money and making a name for herself. They went, on foot to Chalk. On the way there they got ambushed by a couple of orcs. They brutally murdered and tortured most of them with spells, fire, swords and crossbow bolts. they spared their leader and attempted to help him by giving him to the local lord in chalk, trying to give him a job and a chance at a new life. In chalk the lord also notified them of a possible job as they are tasked with getting rid of a Manticore nest that is plaguing the town and they met up with the rest of Jarghull's family and friends and they had dinner at his old house. Where his younger sister confessed she is pregnant.   The session lasted less than 1 day, starting the morning of 19th en ending that night.
