Hunting History Report

General Summary

Early in the morning, the party went out to attempt to ambush Malzod in his camp.  On the way they discovered that Malzod had prepared many glyphs and traps around his campsite.  Detouring around one, they inadvertently triggered another one, with unknown effect.  Once they were close to the campsite, they discoverd that Malzod was alone at the campfire.  Zun went ahead with the antimagic stone, intent on capturing Malzod and bringing him to the others.  Unfortunately, Malzod was aware of his presence, and called out, warning him of traps ahead.  In the ensuing conversation, Malzod told Zun that Tilly had gone shopping for supplies, and that he was looking for Mud.  He seemed to be almost apologetic.  Zun suggested that Malzod return with him, thereby making Mud less likely to attack him on sight.  While this was happening, Eirlyssa triggered another glyph, causing a fireball to explode beside her and Mud.  At that sound, Zun charged forward, but as soon as he got within 30 feet of Malzod, the wizard disappeared, the illusion broken by the antimagic stone.  As Zun frantically searched for clues, Malzod stepped out from hiding and cast a fireball at the remaining party.  With all of them injured, he stepped back into hiding.
