Session 6: The Spring of Blessed Life - Madman's Prophecy Part 5 Report

General Summary

After a mouch needed day of rest at Hillpicket, the group resupplied and headed out to the last location mentioned in the Madman's Prophecy.

7th Day of Mirtul, 1489

The group headed to Cormanthor Forest looking for the Sprinng of Blessed Life. As they approached the spring things became curious indeed. Strange lights and sights started to happen. Eventually the came oppon a man who was struggling to gain his footing. Wittle explained to them how he and the pilgrims had been attacked buy what seemed like wild dogs, but some of the figures looked bigger. And that his wife was missing, they were traveling to the spring as they where expecting a child, their first born.
As the player moved closer to the spring, the weird occurances became more acute, until they came upon a clearing which told a grim tale. Many Pilgrims lay dead. They found a lerntern and 10 flasks of oil. While investigating the scene, a couple Francesca and Volts, came to the clearing, and convinced the group to follow them to the Spring of Blessed Life. Zook a yellow faerie dragon, knowing full well that the couple where Jackalweres in disguise, intervined and had the Jackalweres transform before they got the group to the trap they had set up.
After the group defeated the Jackalweres, Zook took them to the Spring of Blessed Life, where they found Dottee unconscious. They rested and drank from the spring, (gaining one Inspiration). They then traveled back to Elventree.

10th Day of Mirtul, 1489
