Session 1: Report

General Summary

The party met up at a local tavern with Lazer and Melanthios who were hiring some help to assist them in retrieving some stolen goods that were taken from the Riuke Kor Diukhonor which is a clan of warrior led by a half-orc named Alog. The Riuke has slowly accumulated control over much of the land of Vaasa but another warring faction called the Sonuk has started razing villages and cities of the Riuke.   The task was simple; intercept the caravan as it was on it’s way through the Tortured Lands and take back the stolen property. The party, with a map, decided to head around the north side of the Vercy Wood to head the caravan off.   After heading out of Sturm, and narrowly avoiding a bar fight with a very drunk Orc, the party set out with another patron from the tavern named “Sigran” who was a dwarf. After making their way around the Vercy Wood they soon discovered that Sigran was actually a Doppelganger who was following them. Melanthios, without hesitation, cut the Doppelganger down and as the Doppelganger died the party heard him mention he was there to get information for “Him”. Adara found a Stone of Mind-Seeing.   Kiran kept detecting a fiendish presence nearby but was unable to locate anything along the rolls and hills of the area they were traveling on. Upon nearing the road where they planned to intercept the caravan, they figured out the Imp disguised as a raven and they were able to capture it and get information.   They learned of Alog and that the Imp was to report back if the adventurers went too far north; Melanthios beheaded the Imp before it could get the chance to escape.   They dug holes in the road and set up an ambush for the caravan.
