Session 1: Strangers Meet

General Summary

In the opening session, a group of people meet in the Crowing Cockatrice, the only inn in Jalanthar. Olaf and Perrin, being old friends, meet up in the tavern to catch up on old times. While there they meet Sylas who is in search of his brother Sharwin. Meanwhile, Sharmin and Cormack are drinking at the bar and quickly strike up a conversation and the group becomes unusually fast friends despite the deep routed hatred between the dwarves of Sundabar and the western towns of the Silver Marches(like Silverymoon).   While chatting a patrol of elves from Silverymoon come into the tavern and later a small band of darves lead by Galek, a renowned dwarf in Sundabar that Olaf and Perrin know of. The elvish patrol overhears Olaf talking disparagingly towards elves and they tell him to pipe down. Not being ones to back down from a fight Cormack tells the elvish patrol to apologize. When the elvish guard stands up he is hit over the head by Perrin with his drink and a fight ensues. The team easily dispatches most of the patrol, however, the leader turns out to be more then they can handle. The fight is stopped by Boren Gristall, the local law, and Galek. The party is promptly arrested and locked away.   The party is released at the hands of Galek and sent on a mission to deliver a package High Mage in Silverymoon, Methrammer Aerasume. They are forced to make a blood Oath to deliver the package without dilly-dallying.   While leaving they meet with Quinn Nardrosz who is the head of the Council of Elders as well as Barlow Quickstrider who is also on the council. Quinn sent the party to Hilltop to deliver the a note to the priest.   They also find out that Shawrin is/was a guard in the town and has since left to go back to Everlund.

• Galek asks the party to deliver a package to the High Mage in Silverymoon.
• The party is also asked to deliver a message to the priest in Hilltop.
• Sylas starts looking for his brother Sharwin who is on the road to Everlund.
