Session 13 - Fleeing Greenroot

General Summary

Crushed and tormented by their guilt, the adventurers flee Greenroot in fear of persecution by the Realmshield. The Realmshield General at Greenroot, Siveth Haevaul, had secretly instructed them to flee, knowing that the consequences would be dire if they didn't, as he knew that the war was not their fault.   They begin the trail towards a port where they can catch a ride to Kotoxi Mari. On the way, they meet a group of four adventurers on their way to Greenroot- Arkud Flintmane, Carmil Steelmill, Geoffrey De Mowbray and Danryn Lamanath. The four adventurers hear of the chaos in Greenroot and instead decide to accompany the adventurers back to Kotoxi Mari (they have been many times).   But as they meet these new friends, they lose another. The Firbolg escapes his Deathtoll captures, running free into the forests. He finds himself alone, and begins his journey to the Greatpass mountains ahead of him, knowing not of his fate but relieved to return to the sanctity of the wildlands- his only experience in civilisation ended in terrible slaughter, and he knew he did not want to suffer that again.
