Session 19 - The Pokawa Outpost

General Summary

The adventurers begin their journey to find Jandro Slateborn, who can hopefully remove Ila's cursed Scarab Gauntlet. Along the way they are ambushed by three Goblin Wolfriders from the Pokawa Outpost. They kill two and charm one, who they befriend- his name is Nip. While not particularly smart, Nip is crafty and shows a friendly and innocent side. They convince Nip to show them the way into the Pokawa Outpost to save three prisoners being kept there, in return, they will give Nip magic mushrooms.   Nip instructs them on how to get in. While Ila transforms into an ant and crawls onto Elxis' leg, Elxis disguises as Nip, pretending to escort Flint back as a "prisoner". Meanwhile, Panser and Geoffrey distract some goblins with a rather phallic display of illusory magic. Elxis' ploy works- they make it into the Warlord's room, turning Flint in. All of a sudden, combat breaks out between the adventurers, the goblin Warlord and the goblin Warpriest.   The adventurers kill the Warlord and Warpriest after an exhausting and near-lethal fight, before breaking out of the Warlords' room and fleeing out one end of the outpost while Elxis, still disguised as Nip, led the goblins out the other end of the outpost. The adventurers manage to escape with three prisoners and make it out safely from the outpost.
