Session 8: Sub-Par Report

General Summary

The party woke up the next day on the Here and Back Again and went to the cafeteria for breakfast. They talked amongst themselves and with two of the crew members (Krakow and Laurent). A couple hours later they finally landed in Lauserant, the capital city of the planet Lausill. As they disembarked, Captain Alessia accompanied them down to the embassy within the spaceport, and Lissi gave the captain her number. The survivors of the Diaspora Crossing confirmed that they were alive and that some of their fellow passengers had died in the accident and that the captain and crew's status was unknown. Afterwards, the party shopped a little at the gift shop/duty-free area and rented two submarine minivans, intending to transport FatherY and Violet's components to Under the Sea, the hotel where the Star Search cast and crew were said to be staying. However, as they arrived at the hotel and parked, Jarrs insisted on modifying the engine of the minivan that Mark had rented, and Mark disagreed. Lissi, Jiore, and Shep all worked to distract Mark as Jarrs worked on the engine. After Shep fired his cryo gun at the ground, a hotel employee rushed out and asked them to refrain from firing their weapons. Lissi put on a performance and pretended that she was being harassed by Mark; the hotel employee ended up believing her story and asked Mark to leave the premises. The rest of the party then followed the employee into the hotel to check in.
