It Finally Happened Mom
After my year of space travel the worst has finally happened, we have crashed landed. Thankfully do my genius I managed to save everyone in my pod. The same can't be said for the other pods, one fell down a mountain while another has been split clean in two. See mom all that studying I did is finally paying off (also, don't worry I will still collect the dirt you need for your experiments). The island we landed on is quite the odd one the forest seems to be primarily be made up of fungus not the normal flora for an island.
The friends I have met since crashing are an interesting bunch. There is Lissi who is the most normal, she is kind and a good leader. Next is Mark who I am somewhat confused by he stayed in a job that he hated, and seems to believe that a crash landing is more favorable than his job ever was. Lastly is Ramble a Skittermander I have made friends with, the two of us are working together to keep the talls happy with us so we can stay safe. There are others but I have not talked with them much and will let you know about them in later e-mails. I have no clue how this group would survive without my help. None of them even know how to make simple tools to survive with.
Thankfully with Lissi in charge we are set up to survive for at least a couple of days. We have a plan to use the pods to build a ship of some sort so we can get off of the island. I don't have the heart to tell Lissi that I don't know how to build a ship let alone one that will be able to enter space. Hopefully some one will be able to find use and get us out of here before anything worse happens to all of us. Well it is almost time to eat out here so I will write you again later mom.
