Session 30: Report

General Summary

The party climbed up the downed half of the space ship, seeing zombie Ysoki through the back window. Battle ensued as the glass broke with some effort. The zombies had cybernetics and the ability to explode.

Post-battle, Mivun found some cargo and a briefcase full of gems, the others investigated the rest of the ship, finding messages from the crew to their loved ones, while Jarrs and Jiore teamed up to find a hidden area accessed through the vents with a stash of items.

There was a light far to the east with mist surrounding it, the party headed that direction in their vehicle.

A ship passed overhead and the party rung them up, seeing a skeletal pirate, who pursued the Rust Bucket; Lissi ordered Ramble to leave atmosphere and head into the Drift. But the pirates couldn't seem to leave atmosphere, with a sinister warning about not needing to leave atmosphere, the party realized there must be a weapon nearby that could shear a ship in half.

Trapped now on the Abattoir, the party scrounged around some downed fighter jets for missiles and a power core, loading it on the vehicle. Lissi and Scatter drove the vehicle through hordes of zombies, Lissi used her magboots to keep the accelerator down, sending the vehicle straight into the rickety orbital cannon, detonating it, causing the shot to shear the pirate ship in half.

Scatter and Lissi sustained serious injuries but are still kicking around.
