Bones and ghosts Report

General Summary

Previously: The Werelights of Dragon Barrow
The tunnels opened up into a larger room similar in shape to a hollow dragon's head, with the bones of a horse entombed inside. On approaching them a spirit manifested of a warhorse, once lady Tanamere's trained mount, who is now a ghostly undead horse named Daisy. It somehow expressed it's desire to run, gallop and explore more of the world, and with Herdyr's promise to help her do that, Daisy bonded to Herdyr, the bones melting away and a skeletal horse tattoo appearing on the inside of Herdyrs forearm. Whenever Herdyr touches that part of her arm and concentrates, she can summon Daisy as a mount.
Investigating the rest of the room, Anathema found a narrow passage to the right of the room's entrance, but her thieves skills told her that the tunnel was rigged to collapse when a person got so far into it. She decided that path was not worth the risk.
With nothing else in the head room, the party headed to the tail tunnel. There was another pit trap at the entrance. The room contained two sarcophagi. One was the resting place of Lady Tanamere, the other her loyal squire Garth Nevermantle. The main area of the room contained the bones of a huge dragon. The bones had been magically trapped, with the sword sitting on top. Tharg took up the sword and we defeated the invisible stalker -a type of programmed air-elemental guardian- guarding it. Realising there was magic residue in it, Anathema collected the dust-like elemental essence left from the creature.
