Session 001 - Therapeutic Beginnings

General Summary

Dungeons and Dragons Campaign 2 —Anide Session Notes:   Session 1 - Jan 28th     Starting Location:   City of Ravenwood —> is the capital of the Republic of Ravenwood, located in the North-West of the continent of Cindras   —> Ravenwood was Elven territory and some elves are still bitter about having their land taken and gifted     The Knight's Club Tavern —> owned by Amos Stagmark. He used to be part of the Ravensguard (Republic Military) and saved the crown prince from a troll attack   —> Samena Freestar runs the bar     Back room of the bar gets used for different events and private meetings.   Hingrirm Trueheart —> ran Former Adventurers Anonymous (FAA)      

1st Therapy Session, Duadi, 16th Day of the Sailor

—> Party members introduced themselves   Met Norbert "Norb" Peakson, local barfly Dragonborn.   In the neighboring town of Oakheart, it has been 50 years since Prince Zared Evengrove has gone missing and he has now been declared dead. In the interim Oakheart has been run by a council. The late King’s brother Onvyr Evengrove is going to be crowned as the new king. The Prince went missing a few weeks before the King and Queen. King Galareon Evengrove and Queen were travelling to Ravenwood as a diplomatic visit when their ship crashed in a storm. There are lots of rumours and speculations about the royal family.  

2nd Therapy Session, Duadi, 23rd Day of the Sailor

—> Hingrim annoyed Bews, she grabbed him and was knocked back by the artifact around his neck   —> Tried to convince Truheart to allow us to go pay respects at the funeral   —> Someone knocked at the door, Truheart went outside and when the door closed he was blown up…. And his amulet was gone   —> Bews picked up the broken pottery shards   —> Killed by many spells inscribed to make a pottery bomb     —> City guard showed up to investigate. Lead investigator is Magnus Copperbeard   —> Amos and Samina devastated by Hingrims’s death.   —> Party was released into town, not allowed to leave as we’re still under investigation   —> Beretan went to the temple of “The Parent”   —> Hingrim also wore symbol of “The Parent”   —> Junipurr hid while everyone left the bar and found a calendar with scheduled meetings including ours, the Anti Gang Violence Workshop and a billiards/poker group   We need to go to the Victorious Secret, it’s a magic shop in town and has an enchanter that may have more info       We headed to Hingrim’s house to see if he had any notes on the workshops, criminal organizations or thieves guilds
—> Beretan can probably find out names     There are 2 major criminal organizations operating in Ravenwood   The Teeth - known globally
Dwarven Underground - smaller organization, more local   2 organizations have been clashing lately     Ozz's Emporium - run by Oswald Copperpot
—> a shop that can offload items of a “delicate” nature
