2023/04/26: Searching for the Zenogovia Gem Part 2 Report
General Summary
Senal, Thalin, Giordino, Albadan, Marc, Parari, Zonoma Rather than going straight to Zenogovia, the party decided to head to Trophium in hopes of finding powerful nonmagical gear. Their existing gear relied too much on magic to provide any reassuring defense. They had some trouble with their complete lack of sailing skill, but they managed. Giordino stayed with the boat ("I joined this show to make money, not to spend money") while the rest headed for the Queque District. Giordino saw some suspicious individuals eyeing the boat. He readied his weapon and shield and just grinned back at them. They decided to pick easier targets. The rest of the party did their shopping. Senal hired a crew of sailors. Thalin bought a white magic shirt that cost 100,000 gold. Marc bought a list of things, including two cheap knives, poison, and mundane medical supplies. He also bought better armor for Giordino. Marc's ship gained a name: the HMS Floatswell. While en route to Zenogovia, the ship was attacked by pirates. Predictably, the pirates lost. The party also evaded another skyship and rescued a woman and her chickens from an overturned boat.
