She was born to a long line of magic practitioners in 1996, and has spent her childhood honing the art in a pocket dimension where her people protect a mystical Tree which contains their ancestors cumulative knowledge and wisdom and a powerful spirit of nature - as well as a dark secret.
 
She moved to the city in an effort to forge her own path, and to do more active good than her ancestors. Her growing interest in the modern world has begun to drive a wedge between her and her more traditionalist family.
 
She went to study at a college, with the hope of moving onto university, but once superheroes became public knowledge she felt the need to take action - she begun working as a professional Witch and Private Investigator, and eventually became a Superhero and consulting detective when her first villain takedown made her cross paths with the local law enforcement.

Spent a few months working in a Starbucks to make ends meet before her PI services took off.
