Physical Description

Oldef is getting on in years but still wins the log chopping contest every year. He stands tall at 6' 2" and has a broad physique.

Body Features

Oldef has a tanned and weathered complexion from years spent outdoors. His hands are thick with calluses. His hear is wild and unkempt, his beard the same but still holding on to the light brown of his youth.

Identifying Characteristics

Oldef has a worn fur hat that has been perched on his head longer than anyone knows. It has patches and has been re-trimmed several times. He tends to wear furs wherever he goes.

Mentality

Personal history

Oldef grew up on a ranch in the outskirts of Wayhill. He grew up trapping, hunting and the like, being raised by a father who did the same. Oldef was always wanting to do for himself and had a sense of adventure. In 1142 Oldef and his wife Eadis Thaner along with a handful of other families left the Wayhill area and set out for the frontier. Remembering tales from his childhood of @Derric Engleden Oldef set out seeking the ruins of Engleden's Hold in the south.
Oldef was unable to locate the ruins before the end of summer and fearing a winter without shelter he picked a spot on the banks of Engleden's Run to found his new settlement.
Oldef has served as the leader of @Lumberfell for over 40 years. He has raised 5 children and the settlement has grown to over 100 people.

Employment

Oldef is retired, previously making a living as a hunter/trapper/lumberjack and fisherman. His children provide for his needs now as he spends most of his time in @Lumberfell.
