There was once a girl that was orphaned at the young age of eight, as many often are, when a skirmish in her border town left it burnt to the ground and the people nothing more than char and ash. Taken in by a temple of The All-Mother, the young girl showed incredible promise with the sincerity of her prayers to the God of Order, asking for justice for the families who had lost their lives... but also for justice and peace in the hearts of those so brutish and terrible as to strike the village. So impressed was the lead priestess that the young girl was trained in the arts of prayer, meditation, and devotion, before finally joining the Silver Maidens, forsaking her old name and choosing a new one: Lysleigh Silver (Lee-Slee), for her mother always said she had hair of ruby, eyes of platinum, a heart of gold, and a heart of silver.
 
As a Silver Maiden who has been blessed with magic, her tasks within the world, and that which the All-Mother requests, is that her magic be used to assist in uplifting Knights of the realm, using holy magics to keep them strong, just, faithful, and healthy in the face of the terrors that the world will throw their way - be they vicious and cunning bandits, horrific barbarians, nightmarish consorts of demons, or even a fabled dragon, the Silver Maidens are there to provide assistance to the great Knights of the realm.
 
It was at this time that Lysleigh had found herself at the Order of the Amber Guard, and having been assigned to a group of eager young squires wanting to prove their worth, so too does Lysleigh with to prove her worth - in guiding, assisting, and helping these squires attain their dreams, to bring Order to the world, and to fight against the tide of darkness that threatens to snuff out all that is Good and Just in the world.
