Education

She learned to read from an early age, reading texts of the All Mother with Rosemary. Her mother also showed her books of poetry, herbalism, and history, teaching Rhos to value truth-seeking, although she always fared better at practical application than studying.

Employment

When she was 15, Rhos became a maid at the castle's infirmary. For many years, she worked her way to being a pillar of the infirmary, and a favorite amongst patients. Rhosyn's soft and gentle demeanor was a welcome presence amongst the ill and injured.
 
When her mother passed many years ago, her sense of belonging within the walls of the castle faded, and she longed for adventure, like the treks she took with her best friend, Catalina, who is an adventurous soul, constantly pulling Rhos out if her shell and into some sort of trouble. Inspired by Cat's ability to change and try anything, she enrolled in the Amber Guard's academy, in an attempt to serve the crown that ordered her rescue and safety many years before.

Mental Trauma

Although she was always happy and felt loved by Rosemary, since her passing, Rhos has felt a burning desire to learn more about The Wilds and where she came from. Even after the generosity and kindness that's filled her life, deep within her hides a fear that she will always be unwanted and left alone eventually, as she was left alone in the wilderness as a young infant.

Intellectual Characteristics

Rhosyn, although being a woman of letters and relatively well-read, she struggles with abstract thought, preferring practical applications. She is not skilled in mathematics, nor sciences besides herbalism and medicine. Most of her historical knowledge is of Amberfell, especially royal lineage and major wars.

Morality & Philosophy

Rhosyn has the healer's mentality of "do no harm" but with the added caveat of "but take no shit". She is kind and welcoming, and tends to gather information and observe, waiting to draw conclusions, and especially waiting to act.

Rhosyn has not had major romances, although her attraction is mainly to women. She can, however, enjoy flirting with and being entertained by all kinds of people.
