Malseans is a anxious ghost, hailing from the as-yet-unknown region of Connecticut. The circumstances surrounding his death are something of an anomaly as he has no recollection of how he came be in the realm of Nemorla , where the party met him. There are seemingly many gaps in his memory as "Malseans" isn't even his real name but one given to him by the Aos Sídhe.
His ghostly form gives him a major advantage as a rogue, but his clumsy nature and chronic nervousness mean that his success tends to be a matter of luck.
The recent journey to Albicant has had him take on the appearance of a Skelekron - complete with physical form. This has allowed him to serve as both the Plundering Pirate's PR manager and as the driver of their RV.

Indeed, his pallor is the only thing truly noteworthy thing about him - at least until people begin to pass right through him.
