Claudia was born the 3rd daughter of the illustrious Rosarius dynasty of Rogue Traders. Her family was hoping for a boy but she came along to prove the 3rd time is not in fact the charm in all cases. With no male heirs her father Lucious Rosarius put her and her sisters through terrible trials that were both terrible sadistic and at the same time chauvinistic. Not only did Claudia and bother her sisters prove time and again they were physically capable to lead a Rogue trader vessel but they frequently came up with solutions to their father's trials that involved teamwork and cooperation in order to prove his shortsightedness. In the end however the trial were a formality and their father inevitably died somewhat satisfied that the line would continue by forcing Claudia and her sisters to have their eggs counted. Claudia was deemed heir to the family by way of having the most productive ovaries. Disgusted with her father she kept her sisters close and has sworn off romantic connections that could lead to offspring.
Claudia was quickly and exceptionally more successful than her father was as a Rogue Trader. She was soon rich enough to purchase two more ships of similar size to her own and gifted them to her sisters. They to now captain their own Rogue Trader vessels minus the warrant of trade. Whenever the warrant of trade comes up in mixed company any one that might cause a problem to closing deals usually winds up missing, likely floating aimlessly through the void.
