Danish warrior from Jorvik

Thorsten is a Danish warrior from Jorvik with a pragmatic outlook on life. Unwilling to throw his life away on a whim, he approached the world with humour and a smile on his face whenever possible. Thorsten launched a raid into Mercia to capture a local nun which was thwarted by the party. Though his intentions are unknown, the party struck a deal with Thorsten to let him live in exchange for money, information, and a favor later if they ever ran into one another again.
 
They met him again when he was in the employ of Ivar Ivarsson and a cordial relationship was established.
