A noble merchant from Magnimar, recently returning to reclaim his old family home
- Gender
- male
Aldern Foxglove is a minor Magnimarian noble of a wealthy merchant family. He arrived in Sandpoint earlier this year to restore his old family manor just south of town. A handsome man, with medium-length brown hair and fair skin, he is often seen wearing fine clothes befitting the aristocracy of Magnimar.
During the Goblin raid on Sandpoint Aldern was caught by goblins near Northgate and lost his loyal dog Shirin in the fight. He was saved by the PC's who arrived just in time.
Especially fascinated by the exotic fighting skills of Mauzuro and the arcane prowess of Jal Son of Midu , Aldern invited his saviors to dinner in the Rusty Dragon. He had also made sure to tell the Sheriff and Mayor of Sandpoint that if it was not for the PC's he would surly be dead now!
Two evenings later, at the The Rusty Dragon Inn , the Heroes of Sandpoint met Aldern for the promised dinner. Those of the PC's who bothered to get to know Aldern, found conversing with him can be a pleasure. His mannerism is typically charming and he is well-read and entertaining by his seemingly endless cache of stories about the high life in the city of Magnimar . During dinner Aldern invites Mauzuro and Jal to join him on a boar hunt in Mosswood. Anyone else who wishes to join, is of course welcome, he added. He offers to rent horses from [The Squashed Goblin Stables] for the hunt, and urges the PC's to let him know of any monetary needs that they have so he can help them and repay his debt to them.
A character with Knowledge (Local) or Knowledge (Nobility) +5 or more knows that Foxglove Manor lies approximately halfway between Magnimar and Sandpoint. Constructed more than a 100 years ago, the building is in a decrepit state
