Appearance
Body Features
She has a slightly darkened skin color. The hairs on her arms and legs are more prominent as with most female humans, due to their dark color.
Facial Features
Her original hair color is brown, but as an act of rebellion, she has painted it bright red and shaved it short on one side.
She has a slight fluff mustache on the corners due to her dark hair color. The effect of this is also seen at her eyebrows, as she appears to have a slight monobrow.
Her facial features are roundish and one might argue a bit chubby, though her face is far from fat.
Identifying Characteristics
She has a scar running up from her chin to her eyes. She doesn't tell anybody how she got it. Also, she has some scars on her arms and back.
Also she has a birthmark on her left hand of a mountain with a hole in the middle, resembling the symbol of dumathoin. She received this mark when Dumathoin chose her. Though she usually covers it up by wearing a single glove.
Physical quirks
She's left handed. She is sometimes jumpy when someone touches her.
Apparel & Accessories
She usually wears some darker clothing, but not black. She likes to wear loose fitting trousers that she then covers by tying a wide scarf around her waist. She also puts a scarf over her armor when she is wearing it. A tight, half-long sleeved shirt covers the top of her body and the magic derby hat might be posted on top of her head.
She always wears a single fingerless soft-leather glove on her left hand.
Specialized Equipment
She has leather armor fitting smoothly on her torso that extends to the top of her thighs. Leather braces protect her arms and legs. She keeps her dagger in her left leather leg brace, just in case.

Personal history
Hani’ata was born in Zostaria, after one day her mother Tuhfa had met the dwarf Oribor of the Dragonstout clan while he was away on a voyage. They stayed with each other for two weeks, before he ventured onwards to his ‘quest’ (he never told her what it was). Tuhfa was married off to a man named Izzat four weeks after, but by that time she was already pregnant with Hani’ata.
Years later, Tuhfa decided to take her daughter and together they ran away and took the boat to the Morngrum Archipelago, where Oribor came from. Hani’ata was 14 when they arrived.
Oribor took them into the family and clan. He was pleased to finally meet his daughter. Tuhfa took over the role of the mother in the family, as Oribor’s old wife had passed away some years before. During that time, Hani’ata developed a lot of (short-lived) interests. With some of the human kids on the island, she pranked the older dwarfs: drawing on the walls of the temples; hiding the cane of old Graghoc; climbing the buildings and tricking the dwarven children into doing her chores.
When she was just 21, a ritual was held in which Kathra, one of the half-sisters of Hani’ata was meant to contract to the god Dumathoin. However, it all went a bit different than expected. In the ceremony, Kathra was meant to receive a signal from Dumathoin, but as the ritual was completed, everything stayed silent. Instead, Hani’ata found a crystal in her pocket shortly after. Upon touching it, she was shown visions and images.
Even though Hani’ata was standing in the crowd when it happened, soon the whole clan had their eyes on her. Everyone was silent and stared at her. Then, the yelling started. ‘This is impossible’ ‘She stole it!’ ‘She’s the one!’ ‘Take it from her!’ ‘The bastard!’ ‘Leave her alone!’ She was dragged away from the crowd quickly by the guards before the riot started. At the temple, she explained to the priest what had happened to her (leaving the details of the visions out). He told her that Dumathoin had chosen her to contract, instead of Kathra. This brought great powers and responsibility on Hani’ata, but she didn’t want to hear about it.
For the next year, Hani’ata was trained the rites and responsibilities of the temple. She did not want to do this, but did not want to have to leave the clan either for her mother’s sake. She learned to channel Dumathoin’s powers through the crystal to heal. Soon she started to play with it too for her own advantages.
Recently, Hani’ata was sent on a voyage as a missionary to spread the ways of the dwarven deities. The priest thought it was a good idea to teach her responsibility and independence. So she was sent along on the ship of her greatuncle that was gathering supplies from overseas.
BLABLABLA IETS OVER tavern….
She managed to convince her father and the priest that her helping out in the tavern was good: She was then in the middle of all everybody that required help from her and could share the religion with all the travellers that came in. Thus together with her great uncle, she started the rebuilt of the tavern.
Education
She is currently being trained as acolyte
Mental Trauma
She panics when she comes into an enclosed space of smaller than 5*5 ft. She can totally shut herself down to people that have broken her trust and keep a grudge.
Known Languages
Common, Dwarvish, Celestial, Draconic
Personality
Motivation
She wants to get rid of the patron contract and give it to who she believes is the rightful one to bear it: her sister Kathra. Nevertheless, she is quite interested in what secrets the crystal holds, so will jump at a chance to get to know it better. Most of the time, she lives in the moment and takes the chances that come by.
Quotes & Catchphrases
‘Hakuna Matata’ and ‘Carpe diem’ are sayings she picked up from Zostaria and uses a lot to keep a positive attitude.

Even though there are a lot of things she has done, there is nothing she is really good at except for pranking.

Contacts & Relations
She has a human friend named Zane. He was a streetboy that Hani'ata pranked with when she was younger, and now always gets into trouble in bar fights or on the market. When they meet, he often tells Hani'ata the latest gossip around town but wants frequently something off her since she got status: money, some help for him, some help for a friend.
Wealth & Financial state
From origin Hani'ata was quite poor, but can now lead a modest lifestyle. Even so, she still uses many things really sparingly.
Magic Items
Hani'ata has collected some magical equipment through her few years on the island.
Wand of Scowls
Hani'ata still finds it weird how this wand came in her possession. One day, she was pranking on the market and she had just managed for the baker to fell into his pies when someone tapped her on the shoulder. It was a middle-aged dwarven man that gave her the wand and said: 'I think this wand will make more people laugh in your hands than it does in mine right now' He told her the wand had previously been a wand of smiles and he had used it to bring some joy in people's lives. Yet it had turned into a wand of scowls recently, so it was of no use to him anymore. Yet he was determined Hani'ata could make people smile with it in a different way, if she went about it cleverly. He also told her that there was a small chance that it would turn back into a wand of smiles, with continued use. 'it's good for people to have a good laugh once in a while you know. And even though most people don't like being pranked on, they can always laugh about it themselves in the end,' he finally added.
Thus then Hani'ata used the wand in her pranks and it really did make more people laugh.
Hat of Vermin
Just another day at the market and a new ship came in with a travelling merchant selling magic items. Next to some rare magic items that were locked away securely, he was also selling some more common (and often useless) magic items that were stalled out. Together with some other kids they devised a plan to obtain some of them. They were way too expensive for them to buy, and nobody else seemed to really want them, so surely no one would bother if some went missing? So while Hani'ata distracted the merchant and its guards, the others looted the stall. Among the prize was an old-looking derby hat that looked quite funny on Hani'ata. After some experimentation, they discovered the hat could summon small vermin, that proved useful in pranks.

Family Ties
Her mother's name is Tuhfa, she is a human that cares much for her daughter Hani'ata and son Lorhad and wants the best for them. She is currently unemployed, so she can take care of Lorhad. Hani'ata cares much for her younger brother and likes to teach him pranks, which he smilingly imitates.
Her father's is the dwarf Oribor, who she's not known her entire life. She blames him for not being there for her in her childhood, so can act quite disrespectful towards him.
Kargrim of clan Dragonstout is her great uncle. They do not know each other for for very long, but she likes to play it cool with him.
Religious Views
In her childhood she had been thought the Zostarian pantheon. However, on Morngrum Archipelago she came in contact with the dwarven pantheon. At first, she thought and believed the dwarfs were crazy for believing in any other gods. However, when she was chosen by Dumathoin, she started to doubt. Now she’s not sure if all the gods actually exist. She believes Dumathoin for sure does exist, and probably then the other dwarven gods too. Yet the gods she had been taught about in Zostaria had never been there for her so she really doubts if they are real. The only thing that keeps her from dismissing them entirely is that one time she was roaming the desert… Maybe that was a sign?
She is still really annoyed and maybe even a bit angry at Dumathoin for saddling her up with these responsibilities. However, she is also interested in anything that has to do with him, so she can find a way to get him to retract the contract.
Social Aptitude
Hani'ata speaks easily around other people, and is good at manipulating people to do what she wants. However, when she has to do it to a large crowd, she gets nervous easily.
Hobbies & Pets
Hobbies
My hobbies have attracted Han'ata's attention over the years, she has tried pottery, painting, knife throwing, among others, yet she gets bored by most of them quickly before she has had the chance to master it. She is currently into weaving.
Familiar
Hani'ata has a familiar named Archy. He likes trouble and pulling pranks even when it's not the right timing. He loves shinies and getting attention from anybody. Hani'ata likes him curled up as a weasel around her neck when going through her day to day activities, but Archy enjoys being an imp or quasit to pull pranks. She lets him be either one of those from time to time when she's into some fun.
No matter his form, he appears wearing a fancy golden coloured bow tie that gives him some style.
