Ylldove is an escaped servant who has arrived in the small town of Fairwater after a surge of her newly discovered wild magic. She has been making friends quickly, despite her awkwardness, but will it be enough to hold off the coming storm? Magic is a dangerous thing.

Ylldove was living a quiet life as a half-elven serf of the Dublétoüs of Chéval, until on an incredibly average day, she discovered an ancient gemstone which triggered a surge of wild magic. She escaped and headed southeast to the quiet town of Fairwater. On the way there, while testing her newfound powers, Ylldove decided she would become their town wizard. After several public displays of magic while working the odd job to scrounge up some money, she was covered by the old druid Cratchet, who claimed she was his new apprentice. He was not lying, as he then took her under his wing and began teaching her the basics of druidcraft all while trying to prevent her from inadvertently wreaking destruction on the small town.
