Father of Arveleg I, son of Eärendur the Hapless. After his father split the realm into three after his death Argeleb spent his youth conquering the lands his brothers lost, and after their deaths, consolidated their kingdoms back into Arnor Proper. Upon his injury in Rhudaur he bequeathed his blade Aranrúth upon Nefstan. He later died in the fields of Rhudaur during a surprise raid of his encampment. Following this Arveleg ascended to the throne and immediately began plans for the Siege of Carn-Dum.
