I Finally Met Him

All this time has past, the struggles, the fight, and my freedom. I've looked up to you, the one I've been told all my life was a myth. I seen you and if my eyes don't deceive me then a myth you are not. I don't know how I have become so vested in you and so excited to show my belief in you but its helping me more and more everyday. I believe I am destined for bigger things and you help me see that. I am not a slave, this red skin and these horns don't defy me..do they? I try to see past my appearance and provide aid and hope but these recent events in my life have caused me to feel angry. I can feel the emotion and something in me is like a ticking time bomb. The anger...it calls to me like my father, like it was meant. But, in the end you help me, you make me see the bigger picture. Seeing you put a hope in me, a fire. This task is my weight to bare and I will do whatever it takes to see it through.
