Genji Yoshitsune
Lawfull Good Human (Genji's upbringing took place in a peculiar land known as GNUMF'D. This continent comprised seven distinct realms, each governed by a different ancient deity, entrusted with their own domain. Among these divine beings were the God of Dragons, the God of Fitness, the God of Gods, the Gods of Madness, the Goddess of Nature, and, most notably, Genji's own deity, the God of Ugly. Curiously, the seventh god's name was forbidden from utterance, shrouded in mystery. During Genji's youth, his homeland was inhabited solely by humans. The village revered the God of Luck and Suffering, and their lives were permeated by immense wealth and fortune. However, their insatiable desire for more consumed them entirely. Genji, on the other hand, felt a stark contrast within himself. He sensed the village's obsession with offering sacrifices to the gods and accumulating greater riches, but he yearned for something different. His ambition was clear: to attain invincibility under the sun and master the art of swordsmanship. He dedicated himself to this pursuit, all the while harboring misgivings about the village's obsession. Each passing day witnessed the village's escalating devotion, with people offering increasingly extravagant sacrifices. Valuables gave way to goats, and eventually even criminals were offered to appease the insatiable god. Initially skeptical, Genji turned a blind eye to these drastic changes. However, fate dealt him a cruel hand when he was framed for a murder he did not commit. The entire village seized the opportunity to offer him as a sacrifice, including his own parents. Betrayed and deeply wounded, he saw no option but to flee alone. Running relentlessly, pursued by the enraged villagers, Genji inadvertently stumbled into the Kingdom of Madness. Desperate, he leaped off a cliff, breaking his leg in the process. Still, he pressed on, seeking refuge farther away from the village. But as days turned into weeks, his sanity slowly slipped away. Within the kingdom's borders, he encountered deranged creatures, some attacking him on sight, forcing him to defend himself, while others bestowed upon him strange and unknown knowledge. Remarkably, one individual even healed his broken leg with a simple touch. Lost in an ever-deepening haze of confusion, Genji's sense of self and purpose became increasingly blurred. Eventually, he stumbled upon a cave teeming with enigmatic documents and peculiar artifacts. In a moment of impulse, he picked up a peculiar-looking ring, discovering an inscription engraved within: Correctly worn, it reveals the way, To witness madness in full display. For those brave enough to dare, A glimpse into chaos, if they dare to share. Driven by curiosity, Genji decided to wear the ring. Suddenly, he was engulfed in a blinding light, and the next thing he knew, he found himself in a desolate wasteland, pursued by an unknown entity. In an act of desperation, he flung himself into a nearby river, only to awaken downstream in the dead of night. Drawn to a flickering light, he made his way towards it and found himself in a town populated by bizarre and unfamiliar beings. Overwhelmed by the sudden attention, Genji's instinctual reaction was to draw his blade, inadvertently leaving a scratch on one of the residents. However, unlike before, he no longer felt the urge to kill. As more curious individuals gathered around, he realized the need to flee before getting entangled in further troubles. In the days that followed, Genji noticed a gradual decline in his madness. The sky above him looked different, and though unsure of his current whereabouts, he knew it was a better place than the Kingdom of Madness. It was during this time that he encountered a man named Jinbei, who offered him shelter and sustenance in exchange for his services in a Fishing Company. Genji, yearning for stability and purpose, found solace in Jinbei's proposal and accepted the opportunity to start anew.)
